What's new??
There has been a lot of activity around the studio of late. Our latest purchase is a 1976 Otari 1" 8 track tape machine. This baby sounds great! Now, we can run session completely analog!
Producer/engineer Danny Shaffer has been hanging around the studio so much over the course of the last year, Phase made him an offer he couldn't refuse! Danny now calls Phase home! Check out his website/blog at http://www.dannyshaffer.com

Legendary Chicago blues drummer Jimmy Mayes tracked 4 songs for his upcoming European release.
You Are An Airplane's Sean McConnell has a new band called Cold Country. They were in tracking their upcoming release.
Phase studio owner Matt Feddermann recorded and mixed his upcoming e.p. "Sometimes Wrong...." The e.p. features Danny Shaffer on electric guitar and Gerald Dowd behind the kit.
Chicago's Social Focus has been tracking vocals and mixing their debut album, due out this spring.
